Here at Excel Regenerative Medicine, a Silhouette InstaLift and PDO thread lift are nonsurgical options that raise and tighten loose skin. These are typical alternatives for patients who prefer not to get a surgical facelift, even though they seek to lessen signs of aging, such as fine lines, creases, and drooping skin. Dr. Shail Singh uses absorbable sutures in the InstaLift and polydioxanone threads in the PDO thread lift to spur collagen development and improve sagging skin. The Silhouette InstaLift and PDO thread lift are performed in similar ways and take just under an hour to complete. The difference is the Silhouette InstaLift uses Micro-Suspension Technology™ and dissolvable bi-directional cones while the PDO thread lift uses biodegradable sutures. Prior to either procedure, Dr. Singh may use a local anesthetic to numb the area. He will then inject the sutures into preferred areas of your face using a tiny needle. The sutures will be carefully pulled to create a lifted look and a youthful-appearing result. No cuts or incisions are needed with this process.
