Dermal fillers are often injected to replace diminished facial volume. Faces often lack volume for a variety of reasons, but weight loss and age are commonly to blame. The process works by incorporating the liquid filler beneath the skin to fill in areas lacking fullness or shape. Injectable fillers are a minimally invasive option for San Jose, El Dorado Hills, and Antioch, CA men and women wanting to smooth fine lines, sagging skin, and wrinkles to create a younger-looking face. We offer many different types of fillers that can help meet the expectations and goals of each patient, such as JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, RADIESSE®, Sculptra®, RHA® Collection, and EZ Gel. To find out which injectable fillers are right for you, we invite you to visit Excel Medicine where Dr. Shail Singh and team can help you learn more. We specialize in advance filler techniques and believe in providing most natural results while still keeping the harmony and balance of your face.

Dermal fillers are a great solution for individuals who want to restore fullness and volume to their facial features. Treatment is fast and easy, with little to no recovery time needed. Excel Regenerative Medicine can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines, plump lips, create more definition in the cheekbones and jawline, or add volume to areas that may be lacking due to age. Our team is proud to offer a wide range of dermal filler products to meet your cosmetic goals.

The best candidates for injectable fillers are those looking to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines or add volume without resorting to a surgical facelift. In most situations, individuals with significant signs of aging or who have recently lost a significant amount of weight have areas on their face that are hollow and shapeless. This makes them great candidates for injectable fillers. Fillers are also a great option for men and women who do not want to risk the scarring that can result from a surgical facelift.

Prior to your procedure, you will have a consultation with Dr. Singh or his team so he can gain insight into your aesthetic goals and decide which dermal filler product will best deliver them. Then, we can perform the actual procedure during the same appointment. We will administer topical numbing cream as an anesthetic to make the injections as comfortable as possible. He will use his experience to determine the amount of filler that is necessary and will carefully inject it via a small needle or micro-cannula. Keeping the desired result in mind, either a portion or an entire syringe could be used during the procedure. He can also combine multiple fillers, depending on which areas of the face need treatment and provide the most natural looking and refreshed results.

Always a great appointment with Dr. Singh. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He answers all questions and provides information on the latest and greatest techniques in skin care. Staff is also wonderful, making sure I make my follow up appts and receive all the specials available. Thanks excel medicine for another great appointment!

If you are feeling insecure about your signs of aging, but you prefer a less invasive solution than a surgical facelift, then dermal fillers may be an ideal treatment for you. Fillers uncover youthful, voluminous skin without the risk of scarring or a long recovery afterward. There are a number of products available at our San Jose, El Dorado Hills, and Antioch, CA offices that can help you obtain the results you dream of. To learn more about fillers, call Excel Regenerative Medicine to book a consultation with Dr. Shail Singh.

Fillers can be injected in our San Jose, CA office in a brief timeframe. Because of the anesthetic, the process is usually only mildly uncomfortable and requires little to no downtime afterward. You can expect swelling or bruising initially, but these symptoms will fade away within a couple of days. Typical results can last from a few months to a year, depending on the type of filler used and the placement of injection. Touch-ups may be needed periodically to optimize results.

About Us
How much do injectable fillers cost?

Costs for a dermal filler will vary based on the type used and the amount used to achieve desired results. During your initial consult, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs. We will be able provide you with an estimated cost, which will include any current specials we have.

How do I know which injectable filler is right for me?

The type of injectable filler chosen for your treatment will be based on which area(s) is being treated as well as your desired outcome. Depending on if you would like to reduce the appearance of wrinkles or are wanting to create fuller, plumper lips, we will understand your concerns before suggesting the best filler for optimal results. With so many different dermal fillers available, it can be overwhelming to identify which is ideal for your needs and goals, which is why we work hard to ensure you get results you love.

What is the difference between wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers?

A wrinkle relaxer, like BOTOX, address dynamic wrinkles (particularly on the brow and around the eyes) by reducing the movement of facial muscles. Fillers add volume to your face to fill in lines, wrinkles, and depressions. Injectable fillers can also be used to add more volume to your lips and cheeks and reduce the appearance of aging on the hands.

How long will the results last?

The longevity of your results will depend on which filler is used and the area(s) treated. In some patients, improvements may be visible as long as one year, whereas some patients may need another treatment after a few months. Touch-up injections are available at Excel Regenerative Medicine in order to sustain your results.

What areas of my face can be treated with dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers can improve signs of aging throughout your face by either smoothing static lines or adding volume. Dermal fillers can be used on mild to moderate marionette, parentheses, as well as fine lines near your nose and mouth. They can also temporarily restore volume to your lips and cheeks.

Are dermal filler injections painful?

While many patients don't find it needed, a local anesthetic can be massaged into the treatment site before injection if you're worried about discomfort. After the treatment, you might experience some slight swelling and bruising that will usually be gone in 5 – 7 days depending on the treatment area. You should contact our office if you experience any severe discomfort or signs of an infection after your dermal filler treatment.
